BHIM Apps Unique and Latest Features

BHIM (Bharat Interface for Money) has changed the banking system of India. BHIM with all unique features and instant transaction has given a strong strength to Digital Banking. BHIM is the best advantage of Cashless India to individual.

BHIM apps has made the payment so easy that even an illiterate with basic knowledge of smart phone can transact.

NPCI constantly improving the features of the BHIM application since it launched. Initially they brought the application for Android apps, later for Apple iOS devices also. Later they also upgrade the first version update with addition of SPAM blocker along with Aadhar linked payment.

Some of the Latest Features implemented in BHIM apps are :

1. Aadhaar Number payment : BHIM upgraded version was enabled with Aadhar number payment features. Now sending money using the aadhaar number is easier through BHIM apps. Follow the instruction below :

1. Login to Bhim Apps

2. Choose Send Option

3. Click on extreme right top menu (vertical 3 dots)

4. Choose Aadhaar Pay option

5. Provide Aadhaar Number of receiver

6. Enter amount and verify

7. Enter PIN and send

2. Block SPAM Payment requests : This was much sought features updated in latest version of BHIM apps where the unwanted request for money can be blocked through the application itself.

3. Disable Default VPA : Now individual can create custom VPA (Virtual Payment address) and block the default VPA based on mobilenumber@upi.

4. Regional Language support : BHIM is suppored with seven regional languages. This features is currently available to android apps only. iOS doesn't provide support to regional languages.

5. Refund of Transaction : BHIM application updated with unique features for refund of received payment. Now any fund received may be refunded back through BHIM apps instantly.

6. Reset/Restore Forgotten Password : With this unique features users of BHIM apps may restore the forgotten password. In order to utilize this feature, follow the steps : 

1. Click on the Forgot Passcode option at the Home screen.

2. BHIM app will send an SMS to verify your mobile number.

3. After successful verification it allows you to set your new pass code.
