How To Use Syndicate Bank BHIM Aadhaar Pay For Merchant ?

Syndicate Bank has launched BHIM Aadhaar Pay - Syndicate digital payment solution for merchant. Any of the syndicate bank's merchant can accept the payment from customer with the use of Aadhaar number only.

Merchant needs to follow the below mentioned guidelines for accepting the payment through BHIM Aadhaar Pay application :

1. The minimum requirement criteria for enrolling as Merchant on BHIM Aadhaar Pay application is Android enabled mobile phone with network connectivity and Bio metric fingerprint scanner.

2. Syndicate Bank Merchant needs to contact their branch for enrolling them as Merchant on BHIM Aadhaar Application.

3. Bank will enroll the merchant and provide Bio metric Fingerprint scanner free

4. Once the Merchant listed on NPCI gateway as seller on BHIM Aadhaar Pay application, a SMS with link of [.]apk file for downloading the application will be sent on merchant registered mobile number.

5. Merchant needs to download the application on their mobile phone (May require enabling of download from unknown sources under setting mode).

6. Merchant needs to plugin the Scanning device with mobile phone

7. Merchant to provide the Aadhaar number with bio-metric validation for registering themselves to accept payment from customer

8. After registration merchant is ready to accept the payment.

An instant notification will be received on both the merchant and customer mobile against any transaction. Transaction will be instant.

How To Make Payment on Merchant Outlet through BHIM Aadhaar Pay ?

 1. Customer will visit the merchant location for transaction 

 2. Merchant will ask for Aadhaar number of customer 

 3. Merchant enters the Banks name of customer (choose the bank where customer Aadhaar number is linked with account), Aadhaar number details of the customer on BHIM Aadhaar Synd application 

4. Amount of transaction to be entered on merchant mobile application 

5. Confirm the transaction details, click on ‘yes’ tab 

6. Scan the fingerprint of customer on scanner device with merchant 

7. Click on Proceed Tab

8. The Aadhar linked bank account of customer gets debited appropriately

9. Transaction successful message appears on the mobile application with reference number  

10. Customer and merchant will receive the notification instantly for successful transaction  

11. Customer may walk away with cashless purchases
