How To Download and Install Bharat QR Code ?

BharatQR code is the new initiative for digital payment. This is a quick response (QR) code mandated by the government to enable digital payments without card swiping machines.
Bharat QR Code is a common Quick Response (QR) code standard supporting Visa, MasterCard and Rupay cards. 
Bharat QR code enables merchants to accept electronic payments without the need for a EDC/POS machine.
With the help of Bharat QR code application, customers of any bank to use their smartphones to make payments through their bank based mobile application.
This new facility allows customers to use their smartphone to scan Bharat Quick QR code at the merchant outlet. The transaction is completed with enhanced security and speed and the card details remain in control of the customer.

This will be very useful for those people who are into mobile banking and do not want to use debit or credit cards for small value payments. It is oriented to enable small and medium size merchants to acquire more customers,
How To Download and Install Bharat QR Code Application ?
Right now only credit, debit and prepaid card holders with the member bank can use this service and the service is not currently available on Unified Payment Interface (UPI).
Bharat QR code will be available for Android, iOS devices. Windows application for Bharat QR code is not available.
1. Install the Bharat QR code application
2. Install your bank mobile banking or Wallet like ICICI Pockets, HDFC PayZapp etc.
3. Click on Bharat QR code while making any payment.

How make payments using Bharat QR code?
  1. Customers with mobile banking app click on Bharat QR to scan the QR code at the merchant establishment.
  2. BHARAT Apps automatically enables the camera in the phone.
  3. Customers will be presented with a payment screen displaying merchant details and amount to pay.
  4. Customers can select from any of their Visa, MasterCard or Rupay cards for payment.
  5. Transaction is completed and the customer sees a success screen. The merchant receives a notification on his phone for the transaction.
This is as like the BHIM or any other bank QR code , Scan and pay application.
